How to connect the head and tail connectors of explosion-proof electric heating strips

Many places that are prone to danger require the use of explosion-proof electric heating strips, which are commonly used by power plants, petrochemical companies, and other enterprises. The following instructions are for the joint treatment of explosion-proof electric heating strips.

Required tools: tool knife, screwdriver, flat nose pliers

1. Use a tool knife to separate the outer insulation layer of the heat tracing cable, and do not cut the shielding metal mesh.

2. Push the shielding metal mesh of the heating strip towards the outer sheath to create a crease, and use a screwdriver to cut open the metal mesh at the crease.

3. Bend the ribbon cable, pull it out from the opening of the metal mesh, and then straighten the metal mesh.

4. Use flat nose pliers to diagonally cut a gap box on the conductive clinker of the electric heating strip, and then bend the busbar to separate it from the conductive plastic. Cut the conductive plastic between the busbars to cover the insulation, remove it, and clean the busbars.

After the above processing is completed, plug the processed electric heating strip into the power junction box, and the shielding mesh cannot be inserted with it. Similarly, on the tail end, the electric heating strip can be diagonally cut at a 45 degree angle (also cannot be inserted through the shielding mesh) and inserted into the terminal box at the tail end. The above operations cannot cause the two busbars of the heating strip to connect.
